BMW E39 540i V8 S62 with 223,529 km. Timing chain was a bit longer, but still within tolerance. Mainly the chain tensioner was over, so the decision was made to completely replace the chains with everything that was really lucky!
The lower double gear was still in order here, but should always be replaced with this mileage, but the sau are tight and can usually only be removed by strong heating with the welding torch and at least 2 good pullers … shit work!
The slide rails were already partially broken and had already separated from the metal and were loose .. shortly before death
